With a melting point of approximately 3422°C, tungsten maintains high creep resistance and structural stability above 2000°C, enabling continuous operation under extreme thermal conditions. The tungsten wire typically has a purity of at least 99.95%. Some tungsten heaters use potassium-doped tungsten wire to improve recrystallization temperature and high-temperature deformation resistance.

The electrothermal performance is closely related to wire diameter. The diameter of tungsten wire is 0.2~0.8 mm. Different diameters correspond to different power and thermal field requirements. Tungsten has a resistivity of about 5.3 × 10?? Ω·m at room temperature. Resistance increases with temperature, providing positive temperature coefficient behavior that improves operational stability.
