Tungsten Heater in Filament
Tungsten heater is a resistive tungsten filament element fabricated from high-purity or doped tungsten wire and precisely wound into single-helical, double-helical, or other geometric structures. Tungsten heater is also referred to as a tungsten filament in lighting applications. Tungsten filament exhibits stable luminous performance and mechanical strength at high temperatures and is mainly used in lighting applications and cathode heating in cathode ray tubes.

Working Principle of Tungsten Heater
When an electric current is applied, the tungsten heater generates heat due to electrical resistance, rapidly raising its temperature to incandescence or thermionic emission levels. At sufficient temperature, the filament emits visible light through thermal radiation, and under higher temperature conditions, it can also generate thermionic emission, enabling dual functionality as a light source and electron source.
