1. Scope of Application
Tungsten crucibles produced by powder metallurgy for use in metal smelting, sapphire crystal growth, and quartz glass industries.
2. Normative References
References related nonferrous metals and material testing standards for chemical composition analysis, density measurement, and dimensional inspection.
3. Technical Requirements
3.1 Chemical Composition
Complies with grade W1 specified in YS/T 659.
3.2 Density
≥18.3 g/cm3.
3.3 Dimensions and Tolerances
Product diameter, height, and wall thickness shall comply with ordering requirements and meet specified tolerance ranges.
3.4 Surface Quality
Surface shall be clean and smooth without burrs, cracks, pores, or other defects.
4. Test Methods and Inspection Rules
This standard specifies methods for chemical composition analysis, density measurement, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection. Inspection shall be carried out by suppliers or third-party organizations. Batches are classified by furnace or processing lot, and re-inspection is permitted for non-conforming items according to specified procedures.
5. Marking, Packaging, Transportation and Storage
5.1 Marking
Products shall indicate supplier name, product name, specification, and batch number.
5.2 Packaging
Packaging shall prevent oxidation, contamination, and mechanical damage.
5.3 Transportation and Storage
Avoid moisture, impact, and heavy pressure during transportation, and store in a dry, well-ventilated environment.
6. Quality Certificate and Order Sheet
Each batch of products shall include a quality certificate containing product name, specification, batch number, quantity, and inspection results. Purchase orders shall clearly specify product name, specification, and quantity.
