(4) Applications: Conventional AC TIG welding, aluminum alloy welding, and magnesium alloy welding
2. CTIA’s Lanthanated Tungsten Electrode (WL10, WL15, WL20)
(1) Material Composition: Tungsten matrix doped with 0.8%-2.2% lanthanum oxide (La?O?)
(2) Color Code: Black (WL10), gold (WL15), blue (WL20)
(3) Features: Low work function, excellent arc-starting performance, high arc stability, suitable for both AC and DC welding
(4) Applications: Stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium alloys, nickel-based alloys, and automated welding equipment
Today, 2% lanthanated tungsten electrode (WL20) is one of the most widely used tungsten electrodes worldwide.

4. CTIA’s Zirconiated Tungsten Electrode (WZ3, WZ8)
(1) Material Composition: Tungsten matrix doped with 0.15%-0.9% zirconium oxide (ZrO?)
