During welding, the electrode tip can maintain the shape of the ball, and the arc stability is better than that of pure tungsten electrode. In addition, it also has good corrosion resistance.

Application

Thanks to good welding performance, zirconium tungsten electrode is widely used in welding under alternating current, and it is also suitable for high quality welding rays. However, it is not recommended for this type of electrode to be used in DC. Zirconium tungsten electrode can also be used for magnesium aluminum and its alloys in AC welding.
